Hello, I Am...

My name is Vaja-Maria and I am 15 years old. I live in Gazi. I have curly black hair and black eyes. I have dark complexion, and I am slim. My hobbies are playing piano, swimming and going to the cinema. My favorite movies are ‘Twilight’, ‘the wizard of Oz’ , ‘great and mighty’, ‘teen beach movie’ and ‘Phantom of the opera’.

I am...

Hi! My name is Mary Houstoulaki and I am 16 years old. I live in Gazi/Heraklion in Crete.

I spend my free time dancing and painting because I love art. My favorite sport is volley because of the fact that is a collaborative game and because I'm happy when I am a part of the group. I attend this project to communicate with people and learn more for France.

Who Am I ?

Hello there!! ‘Je m’appelle’ Theonymfi.

Yeah I know. It’s a strage and difficult to pronunce name cause It’s a real traditional greek one so, if you can’t just don’t pronunce it.

Anyway, I’m seventeen years old and I live in Gazi-a quiet big region in the suburbs of Heraklion. I go to Gazi’s school named Dominikos Theotokopulos (El Greco) the only schoool that my area provides. Junior high school and ‘lycee’ are in the same building but it is said that till January we’ll move to a new school more equiped than the one we have now.

Regarding my preferences in school subjects I find them all interesting. However, if I have to choose what I like most I‘d choose science and math ratther than History or Ancient Greek, but I can’t say that they are useless, since they provide you a variety of information that broaden your horizons of knowledge. Well, since I’m blabbering now and you might get bored, I’ ll conclude with my hobbies. I used to play basketball when I was younger but now I dance –mostly hip hop. However, what I love most is theatre –not watching but playing it.Till now I've participated in small school performances having a small role but my dream is to have the main role in a big theatre company with lots of viewers !!! That’s what I always wanted.

My name is Klio and I am 16 years old.

My favourite subject is mathematics and I really love experimenting either in Physics or Chemistry. My classmates and I often go to the laboratory for such experiments and we enjoy learning by this way. Finally, I spend a lot of time playing Basketball, since someone can both excercise and learn how to cooparate.

Our Computer Lab

Our school includes a computer lab bought in 2008 and consists of eleven workstations and one server. The characteristics of our workstations are:

•       CPU: Pentium® Dual-Core E5200
•       RAM: 2 GB
•       Operation system: Windows 7

Students usually work in groups and learn a lot about using a computer. The teacher controls all the computers by the server so as to be possible to make his lesson more appropriate and interesting.
